This is a start up group and I am looking for people interested in the study of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA). We are a martial arts group, not an SCA, LARP, or reenactment group. My emphasis is on Renaissance Germany and I work primarily from Joachim Meyer's fencing manual of 1570 and Paulus Hector Mair's fencing manuals of 1540.
